Gulf Shores State Park

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to Mom.  She took me camping at Gulf Shores State Park. Anna came along, too! Anna doesn’t quite know how to pose for photos like I do!

But she is still one fun dog to be around.  We had a grand time and I saw some pretty wild animals – some I really wanted to get closer to and some, not so close!

Mom, Laureen  and Dad rode bikes and tried to take me, but like I said, I don’t care for riding.  You can see the Houndabout by the LGM in the first photo.  It was quite a waste to bring it along, if you ask me!

The beach was fun.  I loved romping in the dog park pond.  Mom had me registered as an Emotional Support Animal so I can visit some of the places at the beach. Most are dog-friendly but some want me to have an ID and Mom got me all registered so I can sit with them on the deck at the Pink Pony Pub and watch the sunset!

Gulf Shores State Park is huge but the area is quite nice.  We were on Bear Road and enjoyed the boardwalk, pool area, nature center and dog park areas.  The hookups were perfect and the sites level.  There was plenty of shade for me.  I think everyone there had at least one dog! There are over 400 sites but we were the only teardrop trailer and folks stopped by a lot to check LGM out!
